Karim Harji is the Programme Director, Oxford Impact Measurement Programme at the Said Business School, University of Oxford. He is also the Founder and Director at Evalsys, an impact measurement and management consultancy. Karim was previously a Co-Founder and Director at Purpose Capital, where he established and led the Impact Advisory practice. He has made significant contributions to the Canadian social finance sector, including as lead author of “State of the Nation: Impact Investing in Canada”, co-founder of SocialFinance.ca, Senior Manager at Social Capital Partners, and Board member at the Responsible Investment Association and CanadaHelps. At the global level, he co-authored the strategic assessment of the Rockefeller Foundation’s Impact Investing Initiative, and the market review, “Accelerating Impact: Achievements, Challenges and What’s Next in Building the Impact Investing Industry”.
